This privacy notice has been prepared pursuant to Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) to inform you about the personal data we process in our capacity as data controller.

2. Personal Data We Process
When you visit our website, contact us, apply for a job or enter into a business relationship with our Company, the following personal data may be processed:
- Contact form data: full name, e-mail address, phone number, subject and the content of your message.
- Job application (Career) form data: full name, ID number, nationality, place and date of birth, gender, marital status, whether you have children, military service status and postponement date; education level, last school and field of study; employment status, length of work experience, vocational qualification certificate status; phone number, e-mail address, residence address; your answers regarding overtime and shift work, the date you can start work, your salary expectation; and the information contained in the CV you upload as a PDF and in your cover letter, if any.
- Customer, dealer and supplier transaction data: details of authorised and contact persons (name, title, company, contact details) shared during sample, quotation, order, shipment, export, contract and invoicing processes.
- Transaction security data: IP address, browser and device information, date and time records of visits.
- Cookie data: cookies required for the operation of the site and visit statistics collected through Google Analytics.
The job application form does not request special categories of personal data (such as health, religion, trade union membership or criminal convictions). Please do not include such information, or data of third parties unrelated to your application, in your CV or cover letter.
3. Purposes of Processing
- Responding to your information, sample and quotation requests and carrying out communication activities,
- Carrying out product sales, order, shipment, export and after-sales processes, and managing customer, dealer and supplier relationships,
- Receiving and evaluating job applications and carrying out recruitment processes,
- Ensuring the security of the website, monitoring its operation and improving it,
- Fulfilling obligations arising from legislation and providing information to competent authorities,
- Establishing, exercising and protecting our rights in legal disputes.
4. Method of Collection and Legal Grounds
Your personal data are collected by automated or partly automated means through the contact and job application forms on our website, e-mail, telephone and cookies. Your data are processed on the following legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK:
- Processing is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (quotation, order and job application processes),
- Processing is necessary for compliance with our legal obligations,
- Processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right,
- Processing is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (responding to requests, site security),
- Your explicit consent, where explicit consent is required.
5. Transfer of Personal Data
Limited to the purposes above and in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, your personal data may be transferred to service providers in Türkiye and abroad from whom we obtain hosting, e-mail, security and analytics services; to our business partners in logistics, customs and finance to the extent required by order and shipment processes; to our legal and financial advisers; and to public institutions and authorities authorised by law. Due to the Google Analytics and Google Maps services used on our website, certain technical data may be processed on Google’s servers located abroad. Your personal data are not sold to third parties.
6. Retention Period
Your personal data are retained for the period required by the purpose of processing and for the limitation and retention periods stipulated in the relevant legislation; at the end of these periods they are erased, destroyed or anonymised. Job application data are retained for the period necessary to evaluate the application.
7. Your Rights under the KVKK
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to our Company you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data are processed,
- Request information if your personal data have been processed,
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data are used in accordance with that purpose,
- Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data are transferred,
- Request rectification if the data are incomplete or inaccurate,
- Request erasure or destruction under the conditions set out in the KVKK,
- Request that rectification, erasure and destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data have been transferred,
- Object to a result to your detriment arising from the analysis of the processed data exclusively by automated systems,
- Claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
8. How to Apply
You may submit your requests, together with information verifying your identity, in writing by post to “Sağancı, 9. Applications are concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty (30) days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request; if the process entails an additional cost, the fee in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.
