Ceramic Chemicals

Sodium Tripolyphosphate (STPP)

Sodium tripolyphosphate is the sodium salt of triphosphoric acid. It is an inorganic salt. Alkali phosphates exhibit detergency activity in combination with the ability to separate, disperse and buffer. STPP is an important auxiliary chemical in the ceramic industry that can control viscosity and thixotropy by changing the surface charges of clay-based ceramic particles and ensuring their homogeneous dispersion in water. By changing the pH and zeta potential of the sludge, it provides the production of sludge with high density and low viscosity.

Sodium Hexa Metaphosphate (SHMP)

Also called Grahams salt. However, the most well-known name is Calgon. It is a chemical that can easily dissolve in water with the appearance of white powder. SHMP is an important auxiliary chemical in the ceramic industry that can control viscosity and thixotropy by changing the surface charges of clay-based ceramic particles and ensuring their homogeneous dispersion in water. By changing the pH and zeta potential of the sludge, it provides the production of sludge with high density and low viscosity.

Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC)

CMC is an anionic cellulose ether. Its chemical name is sodium carboxymethyl cellulose. Carboxymethyl cellulose is the best known cellulose derivative. CMC is non-toxic. CMS has found a wide range of applications in industrial production. It is an important chemical aid with unique performance and high economic benefits. It has a very wide usage area. It dissolves very well in water. In the ceramic industry, it is a highly effective chemical in controlling the rheological properties of glaze and engop. It maintains the suspension balance very well and reduces water loss. It adjusts the fluidity -viscosity- properties of the sludge with its constant concentration feature. It does not change or ferment at high temperatures.

Three types of products are available, PMS 30 P, PMS 100 R and PMS 700.

defloculant

It is an important auxiliary chemical in the ceramic industry, developed with special prescriptions, that can control viscosity, density and thixotropy. New products are developed in accordance with the viscosity and density values of each of our customers.
